Join us for our November educational and social meeting featuring guest speaker from the Bureau of Land Management's Palm Springs-South Coast Field Office. Park Ranger Noel Mollinedo will provide an in-depth look at local natural treasures and discuss critical management areas right in our backyard. [photo- Mecca Hills Chuckwalla National Monument]

To ensure the presentation is highly relevant to our members, the BLM will focus extensively on recreation and conservation opportunities within both the newly established Chuckwalla National Monument and the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Whether you are an avid day hiker, a weekend camper, or a 4x4 off-road enthusiast, this talk will highlight how you can enjoy, explore, and help protect these vital public lands.

  • What is Provided: Light snacks will be available.
  • What to Bring: Bring your own water bottle to fill at the drinking fountain. Come prepared with questions regarding trail access, conservation initiatives, and volunteer stewardship opportunities.

You are welcome to stay and join the Core Group monthly meeting following this presentation at 6:30pm.
