While most of our day outings are free and open to non-members, we invite you to join Great Outdoors San Diego (GOSD) as a member, because membership does have its benefits.

Why Membership?

Membership fees provide the funds necessary to plan multiple group trips and events (e.g., camping, kayaking, parties) that require significant deposits to make reservations up to a year in advance. This also includes benefits like purchasing group food, supplies, decorations, etc. As the largest LGBTQIA+ and Allies organization on the west coast, these funds support the behind-the-scenes costs of running our non-profit, like this website, bank fees, and marketing costs. Great Outdoors is entirely volunteer-run. Your membership keeps this group operating for our LGBTQIA+ and Allies community!

The Fine Print:

• You must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Our regular annual membership rate is $25 per person, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students.
• We are governed by a set of bylaws, which, by becoming a member, you agree to follow and abide by.
• As a member, you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions.
