Cowles Mountain Full Moon Hike

We will be going up the shorter path to reach the top of Cowles Mountain. A monument is located at the top of this mountain. After reaching the monument, regroup. Hike ends at the top of Cowles Mountain
Light Source and Water Requirements: Before we begin, you must show me that you have a light source and water. If you do not have these items, you will not be allowed to join the hike.
Distance / Elevation Gain: 3mi, 950 ft gain
Event Specific Challenges (stairs, animals, allergens): Dark
Note: There is a restroom and a water fountain at the start of the trail. There are also park benches

Please tell the group if you have any chronic condition that could limit you from completing the hike. If an injury occurs, the group will assess the situation and respond appropriately, which may include returning together. Participants are expected to remain with the group for safety.
Wildlife: This area has rattlesnakes that are up to six feet, and the area has stinging bees. Terrain is uneven and hiking at night carries additional risks.
