Hollywood Sign

Perfect Weather Hike

Two hiking groups are joining for a great day where everyone is welcome, queer folx and allies building community togetherness.

Note: The meeting location for the Saturday Morning Hike changes every other month to the Hollywood sign.

This hike to the Hollywood Sign offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Griffith Observatory, Lake Hollywood, and downtown Los Angeles. The route follows wide dirt trails with a dip into a residential neighborhood. There are two key photo opportunities: one from below the sign and another from an overlook that leads to the very back of the iconic letters. Because the trail is popular and can be busy with various groups, the group will gather at every trail split to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The Innsdale trailhead is located in a residential area where Canyon Lake Drive and Innsdale Drive meet, parking is limited to local streets. To ensure a smooth start, participants should check their maps beforehand to avoid getting lost and look for our large group, usually gathered near the fruit vendor carts at the trailhead.
