PS PERIMETER RIDE

Cancelled - to be reschedule at a later date TBD

Join us for a 25-mile FAST PACED bike ride around the perimeter of Palm Springs using the CV Link.  This ride is ideal for riders with e-bikes or those who are accustomed to moving quickly on standard road bikes.  We’ll try to maintain a pace of about 15 mph.

Starting at Denny’s in Cathedral City we’ll catch the Link on Date Palm, then head west to downtown Palm Springs. At Belardo, we’ll turn north and use residential streets, going through Old Las Palmas, then cross Palm Canyon at Raquet Club Road.

Once we’ve crossed Palm Canyon, we will ride for about a quarter mile on a tricky section of narrow sidewalk, meandering around bus shelters and light posts. After that, the rest of our ride is wide open as we use the northern section of the Link to head back to the starting point.

The construction on the underpass at Ramon is moving along quickly and could possibly be usable by the time of this ride. If not, we’ll cross safely at Ramon and Crossley and continue back to the starting point.

Meeting Time and Location:  Arrive at 7:45 am for a prompt 8:00 am departure.  Meet at Denny's in Cathedral City (Map click here)
