PS - HIKE: Round Valley-Tamarack Valley Discovery Hike

DESCRIPTION

Depending on remaining snow pack, we will hike to Tamarack Valley via the high trail and  return via an off trail route (Sid Davis) through Tamarack Valley below the Ivy League Peaks to the the low trail. Some meandering is highly likely. Poles are strongly recommended and microspikes may be helpful.

Tram Ticket Cost:  $31.95-$34.95.  To pre-purchase your ticket and for more information on the Tram  click here.  If tickets are not available for pre-purchase online they will still be available to purchase in person at the station, if you arrive early (9:15am) to get in line to purchase tickets.  Summer and Annual Passes are also available. Parking fee waived for pass holders and local residents.  

What to bring:  Ten Essentials (click here), water (2 to 3 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing and hiking poles. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
