This is a hike that offers great valley views as we proceed along a row of palms leading into the Pushawalla Canyon. Here we will walk through many palms in an oasis and will see water seeping from the ground. There is nice shade where we can break to have snacks or lunch. We will then climb out of the canyon through Car Crash Canyon and follow along another canyon wash back to the trailhead.
Trail Length: 6 miles
Terrain: Mostly firm sand footing with some loose sand. Much of the trail is level with good footing. However, descending into and climbing back out of the canyon is moderately challenging due to either loose footing or having to pick a path through small rocks.
