Our book club has been meeting for over a year and a half now, creating a warm, welcoming space to explore queer literature and foster meaningful connections. As we kick off January 2025, we’re excited to invite new members to join us in celebrating stories that reflect our diverse experiences and histories.
For January we will dive into Andrew Holleran’s Dancer from the Dance! This iconic novel captures the beauty, longing, and complexity of gay life in 1970s New York City, set against the backdrop of disco, Fire Island, and a search for connection. We’ll discuss the book, enjoy snacks and drink, and vote on next month’s selection. Whether you’ve read the book or just want to join the conversation, all are welcome for an afternoon of community and thoughtful discussion. Don’t miss this chance to connect and share insights with fellow book lovers! January’s Book Club meets Saturday, January 25, 2:00-4:00 PM
If you'd like to get a start on February's book, we will be reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Feel free to bring suggestions for future meetings. February’s Book Club meets Saturday, March 1, 2:00-4:00 PM
