White Point Nature Preserve and Royal Palms Beach

Parking: Eco friendly permeable parking lot adjacent to the White Point Nature Preserve Nature Education Center
Accessible via Metro Bus 246 at stop Paseo Del Mar/Meyler
Please join us on Sunday October 13th, 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM-ish for a scenic and educational walk/hike to include the 102-acre White Point Nature Preserve, with a one to 2.5-mile loop hike (150 feet of elevation gain) with restored coastal sage scrub habitat and stunning views across the San Pedro Channel to Catalina Island. We will also visit Royal Palms Beach Park below with its most biodiverse tide pools.

The walk/hike offers stunning scenic views and is good for beginning to moderate skill levels. The route is a mixture of paved sidewalks, dirt trails, and some rocky ocean trail beach, so make sure to wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes.
