PS - Hike - Mission Creek to Overlook

Autumn weather is coming. Hike Mission Creek, Stone House to Whitewater overlook - approx 5.5 miles. The trail is not very steep, and is moderate in difficulty.  The route is a gradual incline of about 700' gain. We will take a break at the overlook, bring a snack. If the weather forecast warms, the hike will be shortened to the PCT junction.

Meet At:  7:50 AM at Carl Jr's on Palm Canyon Dr. at Racquet Club Rd.  Map - click here.  Please arrive early for a prompt 8:00 a.m. departure.  The last 4+ miles drive is on dirt and rocky roads; high clearance is not required.

Bring Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), trail snacks. Sun protection and layered clothing are recommended. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Hiking poles may be helpful.

Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread is required.
