Clark's Grade runs from near Angelus Oaks to just south of Big Bear. The route covers a variety of terrains and road conditions. There are some narrow shelf roads, with obstacles requiring careful driving. This is not a route for beginners. Other than the rough spots, it's a moderate trail in a great forest with good views down to the Inland Empire.
This trip is concurrent with the Barton Flats campout. We will meet in the parking lot at the Country Store in Angelus Oaks. Some drivers will be coming from the campground. If there is interest, we may stop for lunch in Big Bear. Otherwise bring food for the road. Note that there may still be a large bug population, they were thick in late June.
If you sign up as a passenger, please indicate who you are riding with. Everyone on the trip must register individually.
