PS - Hike - Indian Trail Loop at Pipes Canyon

Hike canceled due to temporary trail closure and may be rescheduled in May. 

Hike will be up the wash along the riparian area past the stone house to Indian Canyon Jct. and back.   

• Meet at PetSmart Palm Springs Ramon/Crossley Map in the lower parking lot toward Walmart
• Time:  8 am 
• Trail Length: 4 - 4.5 miles
• Hiking time: 2-3 hours
• Total Elevation Gain/Loss: 500 feet
• Difficulty Rating: Easy - moderate
• Suitable for beginning hikers
• Terrain: Rocky, sandy, uneven in wash

Bring:  Ten Essentials, water (2 to 3 liters recommended), lunch/ snacks, sun protection, layered clothing, hiking poles may be helpful. Carry Emergency Contact Information. Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required. 

Carpooling is encouraged and may be available if offered by driver. You are responsible for arranging you own transportation or ride share. Arrive a few minutes early for briefing and carpooling.
