LA - Social: Camellia Tour @ Descanso Gardens

Join us on Jan. 20 for a walking tour. Learn about Descanso’s historic camellia collections and the little-known stories behind many of the camellias currently in bloom.

Meet at the front entrance @ 10:00 am.  I will be wearing a purple hat and holding a sign saying Great Outdoors

After the tour, we can walk around and visit other parts of the garden including the Shape + Form exhibit at the Stuart Haaga gallery.

Shape+Form Exhibition

Shape and form are two of the basic elements of art. Using creativity, an artist can transform simple shapes and forms into a profound work of art.

The Sturt Haaga Gallery has invited artists to submit their masterpieces to Shape+Form, an open juried competition and exhibition. Approximately 200 artworks will be on view at the Sturt Haaga Gallery Oct. 28–Jan. 28.
