PS - 4x4 Red Cloud/Red Canyon

We will take I-10 to Red Cloud Rd to the mine and ruins, about 8 miles from I-10. Then we'll cross the valley and head along the abandoned train tracks to the old trestle. Then a short backtrack to the Red Canyon and up along the ridge. The return takes us through the flats to Box Canyon Road and back along I-10. We will take a break for lunch along the route. Be sure to arrive with a full tank of gas, water and lunch/snacks. Approx. 35 to 40 miles on trail.

Open to nonmembers. Passengers register directly as 'passenger' and sign the terms/conditions waiver.

Meeting Location: 9:00 AM - PetSmart, Ramon/Crossley, Palm Springs - Map 

Equipment Requirements:

4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle with transfer case, trail rated tires, a spare tire and a full tank of gas. Bring you trail radio, frequency 146.550
