PS - Hike: Whitewater View Trail

The Canyon View Loop Trail remains partially closed due to extensive damage from Tropical Storm Hilary on 8/20/23, so we will do an out-and-back hike instead.  We will climb the switchbacks to the summit and enjoy great views while we continue along the Canyon View Trail. We will stop to eat a snack before returning the way we came, descending to Whitewater Canyon Road and following it back to the parking lot.

Hiking Requirements:

Bring Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), trail snacks. Sun protection and layered clothing are recommended. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Hiking poles may be helpful.

Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
