Hike to a hidden palm oasis in a canyon.

  • Departure Time:  6:00 AM
  • Meet at Rimrock trail Vons Shopping Center. Park in east side of lot near the Eisenhower medical facility.(Hwy 111 /Broadmoor Dr.)  Map click here.
  • Trail Length:  3 miles – in and out 
  • Hiking Time 2 hours
  • Elevation Gain: 700 feet
  • Difficulty Rating: Moderate - Suitable for beginner hikers
  • Rock uneven trail in places, minor rock scrambling.

What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
