PS - Hike: Bogert and Wildhorse Trails

The hike begins at the parking lot in Andreas Hills, South Palm Canyon, and continues up and down a dirt road for some distance. Then it comes a trail which climbs up the mountain side via several switches backs and comes to the Wild Horse Trial.  The hike will continue on the Wild Horse for some distance so to enjoy the great views from the ridge.  It will not continue all the way to Murry Peak.

  • Difficulty:  Moderately Strenuous. Will be generally challenging for and unconditioned person. The terrain will involve a steady and often steep incline.
  • Distance:   3.5 miles
  • Elevation Gain 700 ft.
  • Out and back
  • Meet at 8 am at Bogert Trailhead, Map Click Here. Follow Bogert Trail - Andreas Hills Dr. to the top of the hill parking area.

What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
