PS - Hike: Maze Loop - Joshua Tree Park NP

This hike is located near the West entrance to JTNP. The terrain is rocky, sandy, and is known for geology, birds, and wildflowers. We will take the south loop around the Window Rock loop. Meet at  Carl's Jr parking lot, Racquet Club at Palm Canyon  at 7:50, for a 8:00am departure. Gaiters and hike poles might be helpful.

  • Departure time: 8:00 AM
  • Meeting location:  Carl's Jr parking lot, Racquet Club at Palm Canyon  at 7:50, for a 8:00am departure. Please do NOT plan to meet us at the trailhead. 

Carpooling: there is limited parking for this trail, so we will want to take only 3 or 4 vehicles if possible

Bring Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), trail snacks. Sun protection and layered clothing are recommended. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Hiking poles may be helpful.

Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.

Carpooling is encouraged and may be available if offered by driver. You are responsible for arranging you own transportation or ride share. Arrive a few minutes early for briefing and carpooling.
