Hike to a hidden palm oasis in a canyon.
- Departure Time: 8:30 AM
- Meet at Rimrock trail Vons Shopping Center. Park in east side of lot near the Eisenhower medical facility.(Hwy 111 /Broadmoor Dr.) Map click here.
- Trail Length: 3-4 miles – in and out loop
- Hiking Time 2 -3 hours
- Elevation Gain: 400 feet
- Difficulty Rating: Moderate - Plus - Steep uphill climb at the beginning through uneven rocks and boulders.
- Rocks, uneven trail in places, minor rock scrambling.

What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
