Beginner Introduction To Pickleball
Ever wanted to learn the game of pickleball? This GOPS club event is intended for Great Outdoors members who wish to learn the basics of playing pickleball and the rules. It is designed to be a fun event that will rotate players through groups of 4 for games. This is a chance to meet and get to know other Great Outdoors members who also want to learn the game.
You should familiarize yourself with the game and read through the basics - click here - to answer some of your questions.
We will have two pickleball courts available and will limit this event to 10 people. Introductory instruction will be given by GO members who play the game regularly.
What To Bring? You should bring court shoes (think tennis shoes) and your own paddle. There may be a few extra paddles for you to borrow one. Paddles are available at many local stores here in the Coachella Valley and online at sites such as Amazon.
