The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is located 6067 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. *The main building is the former May Company.) We will meet at the entrance door at 9::45 AM. Each person is responsible for purchasing his/her own Tickets. Admission for adults is $25 or for seniors is $19. If you wish to view the The Oscars® Experience the cost is an additional $15. This show simulates the achievement of accepting an Oscar at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre in this immersive experience, which lasts for 15 minutes.

The trip leader's recommendations are:

1. to book your tickets early. Some dates are sold out up to a month in advance.

2. to book the Oscars Immersive Experience at 11:00 AM.

For those wishing to go my metro, we will meet at the Willow Station at 7:45 AM. The A (Blue Line) Train leaves at 7:58 AM. We will arrive at the musuem at 9:27 AM. Full fare is $1.75, senior fare is $.55.

For those who are interested in having lunch after the museum, Canter's Restaurant is a 20-minute walk north on Fairfax Avenue.
