The trail to Lost Palm Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park begins at Cottonwood Springs at the southern entrance of the park. One of the largest palm oases in the park, second to Munsen Canyon, the trail proceeds along fairly flat terrain along sandy washes and rolling hills until you reach the oasis overlook where the trail descends into the palms below.. Although the hike is considered a moderate hike, there will be some boulder scrambling descending into and out of the oasis.
