Where: Meet at Point Sal Trailhead at the end of Brown Road.
Distance: 5 to 5.5 mi (turn around Pacific vista point, NOT going all the way down the beach)

Description: Point Sal starts with a slow incline, where one can easily have the views of the rugged mountain slopes and several livestock that scattered around the hillside. The area is golden brown at this time of the year, although coastal sages and chapparal areas are not uncommon. On a clear day, the Pacific vista point is spectacular, with its steep jagged beach areas, greets you with cool Pacific breeze. Please note, that part of the hiking trail area is managed by Vandenberg Air Force Base, so please follow the rules and regulations posted.
Please wear your good hiking shoes, bring snacks, sun protection, plenty of water and your 10 essentials. Afterwards, we plan to go to Guadalupe Café (Or other local restaurants to the area) to relax and grab lunch.
Directions: I highly encourage the use of GPS. Otherwise, here is appx direction:
From the south: Head north to US 101. Take exit on 164 onto East Clarke Ave in Orcutt. Turn left and head all the way to Cabrillo Highway (Highway 1), where you will turn right. Travel 8 mi north and turn left onto Brown Road. In 4 mi, you will arrive at your destination.
