PS - Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Garden - Plus

Farmers Market, Botanical Garden, Museum of Art at Pomona College -private showing!. Registration fee includes entry into the Botanic Garden and docent guided tour.

The meeting place in Claremont is, 9:45 AM in front of the Metrolink Claremont station.  There are benches, some parking, etc.  The approximate address is 200 1st street, Claremont CA.  Opposite the station is a bike shop.

Carpooling may be available if offered by driver. You are responsible for arranging you own transportation or ride share. Arrive a few minutes early for briefing. Departure from Palm Springs is at 8:15 AM. Distance to  Claremont Farmers Market is 84 miles, map - click here.

Itinerary: 

• 8:00 AM Meet for departure 8:15 am from Palm Springs
• 9:30 AM arrive Claremont
• 9:45 AM Orientation, introductions, hand-outs, etc.
• 9:45 AM Coffee, Farmer's Market, etc.
• 11:00 AM Benton Museum of Art followed by lunch
• Lunch in Claremont Village
• TBD depart on Walking Tour to the Botanical Garden through the Claremont Colleges (walk from the village to the Botanical Gardens.  It's about 35 minutes, and 1.5 miles, flat terrain, but no handicap. At the end of the day we will have to walk back down into Claremont.  Of course we can always drive, but the walk up to the gardens should be very interesting through the campuses.)
