Malibu Hindu Temple
Join us for an enlightening visit to this fabulous and beautiful Hindu Temple in Calabassas! It is one of the largest Hindu temples in the Western hemisphere.
Malibu Hindu Temple, a temple of the Hindu god Venkateswara, built in 1981, is located in the city of Calabasas near Malibu, in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is owned and operated by the Hindu Temple Society of Southern California.
The Temple was built in 1981 in the traditional South Indian style, it is frequented by followers of Hinduism in Southern California.

TIME: 10am (Meet at location 9:45am)
Donation: $5 – Please bring $5 per person IN CASH. I will collect and offer to the Temple as a donation for our visit.
LUNCH:
After our tour, we have the option of enjoying a wonderful and delicious meal there at the Temple.
As we did on our tour of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple, lunch there was relatively cheap and very yummy (and a little spicy – you’ve been warned! Lol)
The kitchen is situated in the cultural hall below the Vishnu complex. All prepared items in the kitchen are prepared on the premises. The kitchen is open only on weekends and holidays. Its run by volunteers.

Business casual is preferred for both men and women.
You will be requested to remove the shoes at the entrance. You’re allowed to walk in your shoes in the parking lot.
