WaterBikes! It's Labor Day weekend, and you decided to stay in the local area as who wants to be on the road snarled in traffic during the last weekend of Summer. So thanks to Dave, our VP of Outings, and with his recommendation for WaterBikes - we are doing a Pop-Up event for this Sunday!
Pedaling on the water in the Long Beach Marina Bay area on a sunny afternoon. How cool is that!
And lunch (optional) @ Acapulco on the patio afterward. Acapulco is about a mile away from the Marina, and it has a spacious outdoor patio to boot/cha cha heels!

Details:
Bikes are made for solo riders only.
The Bike Ride is 1 hour long.
Reservations are REQUIRED on-line as you can't get tickets in person and they sell out quite often. There are only 28 bikes available per 1 hour session.
Our intent is to have our members book reservations for the Noon Session on Sunday. We need to check in 30 minutes before our launch which means 11:30 AM.

Weight limit of 250 lbs; must be at least 10 years old; minimum 28" legs to pedal.
Dress appropriate for the weather (Forecast is Sunny skies with a perfect 80 degrees temperature). Suggestions: Sunscreen, hat, water, sandals with heel straps, shoes you don't mind if they get a little saltwater on.
Masks are required on the dock when getting the bike.
Cost is $25 per person for the Bike session. Acapulco is on your dime!

Conveniently located a few minutes from where the 405/605/22 Freeways converge; Use your Mapquest, GPS, Google Maps - whatever your preference in order to get accurate directions and estimated time frame for traveling. You don't want to be late, as it will cut into your time on the WaterBike!
The storefront is located on the parking lot at Alamitos Bay Landing.
Remember: Free Parking!
Carpooling is recommended to help reduce gas cost, electric costs and parking congestion.

Special COVID Related Requirements:
Participants must comply with the following requirements as a condition of registering for this event:
- I will follow Federal, State and local COVID guidelines as well as the directions of the leader.
- I will maintain social distance (min. 6') and wear a face mask if social distancing is not possible
- I will not attend if feeling ill or have any symptoms of COVID.

‘I Accept’ and will comply with these requirements as a condition of participating in this event.
