LA - Ballona Creek Bike Ride

August 29th. Meet at 10:00; ride at 10:15am

Where: Echo Horizon School/Syd Kronenthal Park at the end of Roberts Ave/Culver City

Route: enter Ballona Creek bike trail from Syd Kronenthal Park. Bike 7 miles to the ocean where Ballona Creek trail meets the Marvin Braude Coastal Bike trail. Head south on bike trail along the ocean to a bathroom stop (mile 7.5). Continue on coastal trail under LAX flight path (mile 8.5); end at Manhattan Beach (13.0 miles). Bike up steep short street that leads to many coffee and pubs on Manhattan Beach Blvd, or stop next to the Manhattan Beach Pier for drinks.

Round trip is about 26.5 miles. Almost all flat route.
