Monthly Chapter Meeting

At this meeting we will be discussing recent past events and planned activities for the next two months. We will also continue planning for our hosting of the all chapter conference in October.
The August meeting is also where nominations for the core group of the chapter are accepted. At the September meeting, nominations will be closed, and the core group for the next twelve months will be elected. The new core group takes over at the meeting in November, after the annual conference. The core group consists of Chapter President, Vice President of Outings, Chapter Treasurer and Board Representative. Additional officer positions may be created by the chapter.
We have a social hour at 7 PM, and dinner service will begin at about 7:30 PM. Each person is responsible for their own food and beverage bill. We have a $50 minimum for our group. The Core Group will be meeting briefly at 7 PM during the social hour and all are welcome to participate and give input. However, only Core Group Members can vote during this part of the meeting. The general meeting will start at 8 PM so that the various trip leaders will have a chance to highlight their recent and upcoming trips, and answer questions from the participants.

1 - Follow Federal, State, and Local COVID guidelines as well as the directions of the event leader.
2 - Maintain social distancing (min. 6') and wear a face mask if social distancing is not possible.
3 - Do not attend if feeling ill or have any symptoms of COVID.
4 - Contact the event leader if you test positive for COVID within 14 days of the event.
