This is a moderate hike, about 6 miles roundtrip, with a gain/loss of 1, 300 feet. Parking is available along Highway 2 at about 34 miles from I-210 near mile marker 58.You will need your Aventure Pass, or National Park Pass to display on you dashboard.
We will meet up at the trailhead furthest East, on the left as you face the mountains. There you will see a sign for the San Gabriel Wilderness. Initially we will hike through forests of Jeffrey Pines and Incense Cedars until we reach the saddle. From here we will head West along a plateau, until we turn South for a short hike to the summit.
After a rest and time to bask in the mountain air, enjoying the view, we will retrace our steps and return to our cars.
