PS - Bike Ride - Las Palmas Stars
Meet Location: Palm Springs Sunrise Park Mizell Senior Center
Join us for a bike ride to and through the beautiful Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs. On our way we will travel on a variety of roads. Las Palmas itself is a quite area with lightly traveled wide streets. There will be some hills to ride up and down there so a bike with gears is necessary. We will be riding past the former homes of some of the stars of the bygone era such as Elvis, Dinah Shore, and Gene Autry. The out and back distance will be approximately 12 miles total.
Meet at 10 am at Sunrise Park, Ramon and Sunrise near the Mizell Senior Center. Riders are strongly encouraged to wear helmets on all bike rides. Inflate your tires to the recommend PSI. You may want to bring a tire pump, spare tube, bike tools, water, and sunscreen.
