Our guest speaker for the January 2020 Great Outdoors Palm Springs Speaker Series will be GOPS member Nelson Arnstein who will give us a talk on A 50th Anniversary Pilgrimage to the Sites of Apollo 11 Mission.
Join us on Tuesday January 14 when Nelson Arnstein will discuss a July 2019 trip by 3 space enthusiasts to relive the excitement of the Apollo 11 Mission, the spaceflight that resulted in man’s first lunar landing in 1969. Listen and watch as Nelson discuss his visit to Cape Canaveral, Huntsville Alabama; Stennis Space Center in Mississippi; NASA facilities in Houston and Dallas Texas and the Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson Kansas.
GOPS Member Nelson Arnstein is a practicing physician at Kaiser Permanente and a space enthusiast.
The presentation will be held on the 3rd floor, Room 2 of the Center. The Center is located at 1301 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA. It is on the same side of Palm Canyon as Denny's restaurant, on the up canyon side Meeting room is on the Third Floor. Click here for Google map directions.
All members and non-members are welcome to attend all meetings. There is no charge for this event. Space is limited to 35 persons. Please click on the "Register" button to let us know you plan on attending this meeting.

During the social period of the meeting we will be distributing GOPS T-shirt and Hat orders. T-shirts and hats will also be available for purchase, as long as supplies last.
