Santiago Oaks Regional Park
Easy/moderate day hike
Arrive at 08:30
Santiago Oaks Regional Park is part of OC Parks. The entrance is 2145 N. Windes Drive, Orange. Click here for the website.
Parking is $5.
The land that is now Santiago Oaks Regional Park was part of a Spanish land grant, Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana. Santiago Creek passes through the park.
There are a number of trails available for us, ranging from easy to difficult. We can tailor the day to the group, and split up if desired. They are almost all interconnected loops so a participant can leave early if tired. Some trails are mixed use; but we will focus on the hiking only trails. The park closes for 2 to 3 days after a rain. The park is being restored after a fire.
The park connects to the Anaheim Hills trail system. We may scout this out for future outings.
