LA - Chinatown Urban Walk & Wine Day

Join the Great Outdoors LA chapter for our Urban Walk & Wine Day as we tour Undiscovered Chinatown and enjoy wine tasting and munchies at the Angeleno Wine Company!

WHEN: Saturday, 8/3

TIME: 3:00-6:30 pm

• Chinatown Walking Tour: 3pm–4:30 pm;
• Angeleno Wine Company Wine Tasting: 5–6:30 pm

WHERE:

• Chinatown Tour: Meeting location: 3pm - Blossom Plaza/Metro Gold Line Chinatown Station Exit toward Broadway (this will be end location of tour as well)
• Angeleno Wine Company: 5pm - 1646 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012

COST: $18 per person (includes walking tour and hors d'oeuvres at wine tasting). 

Optional: If you partake in wine tasting, there is an additional $15 payable to the winery.

1st stop: CHINATOWN - Undiscovered Chinatown Walking Tour

After gathering at the Chinatown Gold Line Metro station, we will meet our docent and Discover Undiscovered Chinatown – We will, visit a temple, an herbal shop, art galleries, antique stores, and more! The one-and-a-half hour walking tour will take our group to a number of off-the-beaten-track points of interest as we wind our way through a myriad of alleyways, plaza stalls, and classical courtyards to discover the charm of L.A.’s Chinatown.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water to keep hydrated!

2nd and FINAL Stop – ANGELENO WINE COMPANY for Wine Tasting and munchies

What better way to end an afternoon together than at a wine tasting!

With a focus on unique varietals, Angeleno Wine Co aims to push the boundaries of what Southern California wine growing can be; their pride and joy is a small vineyard about an hour north of Los Angeles outside a little town called Agua Dulce.

Additional cost for tasting flight (to be paid at time of tasting): $15. The wines are delicious and our tasting will include approximately 4-5 tastings.
