This discovery hike will be an exploration beyond the normal confines of the trail on a moderately strenuous backcountry hike in the San Jacinto Wilderness. There will be some deviation from the trail to “discover” locations not typically seen by the average day hiker.

Tickets for the Tram: $25.95 Adult $23.95 Senior. It is recommended to buy a tram ticket online in advance. Online tickets are limited. Order early! Go to pstramway.com/tickets. If online tickets are not available,many tickets are still available for walk-ins. Note-If for any reason you are unable to use it on the day reserved, tickets purchased in advance at the tram website, or on-site, are good anytime for 1 year from the date of purchase. $8 parking fee waived for pass holders and local residents. Our tram departure is 8 AM.
What to bring:
Ten Essentials (click here), water (2-3 liters recommended), lunch,energy snacks, sun protection, layered clothing and hiking poles. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
