PS - HIKE: ISLAND IN THE SKY

Hike to a seldom visited location.  A very special and unique place with one of the best views overlooking the valley and unique natural features found nowhere else in the world. Visitation to this area is restricted and permitted only with a special permit. You will learn why it is protected and how it relates to an Island in the Sky.

• Meeting location: Tram valley station: 7:30 AM
• We will depart on time on the first tram. Don't be late.
• Departure time: 8 AM Tram 

Tickets for the Tram:  $25.95 Adult $23.95 Senior. THIS IS THE LAST DAY FOR THE SUMMER PASS. Annual passes available. Recommend purchasing online at least a day before the event as tickets sell out. $8 parking fee waived for pass holders and local residents.  Our tram departure is 8 AM. What to bring: 

Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing and hiking poles. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
