PS - HIKE: 4th of July Fireworks

See all the Fireworks Displays in the Valley.

Best view in the Coachella Valley!

We will hike up the Palm Hills trail to an overlook view spot on the ridge overlooking the Coachella Valley where we can see the firework displays. There are several different locations throughout the valley with firework displays. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get to the view spot and there are a couple of steep climbs.

Meet at 8:00 PM at the Rimrock Plaza ( Vons ) 4733 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264

Park in the East parking lot near the Eisenhower facility and meet at the parking lot corner in front of the Thrifty Wash. Depart at 8:05 PM to the trail.

• Two steep uphill climbs at 15% grade
• Type: Out and Back 
  
• Elev. Gain/(Loss): +500 feet
  
• Difficulty: Moderate
  

Bring:

• Headlamp/flashlight (Red light recommended to protect night vision)
• Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water (1 liters).
