PS - Hike: Mission Creek Ramble

This hike will take the Mission Creek trail from the Stone House heading to the PCT.  The hike will explore the damage to the creek caused by recent storms, especially the tropical storm a few weeks ago. We will hike about 4 miles over rough terrain, but not much elevation change. It should take about 3-4 hours, including a food break.

This hike is rated moderate.  Hiking poles are not needed but could be useful.  Bring 1-2 liters of water and a snack or lunch.

Meeting is at 9:00 am in the parking lot next to Carl's Jr, at the corner of N. Palm Canyon and Racquet Club in Palm Springs, enter on Racquet Club.

What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
