PS - Palm Springs Pride Parade

PALM SPRINGS PRIDE PARADE 

Great Outdoors members will participate in the annual Palm Springs Pride Parade on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  Our group includes a marching unit and a fleet of decorated Jeeps and a golf cart with dance music. Volunteers receive a complimentary T-shirt to wear in the parade. Come join in the celebration and see the famous Pussy Riot band perform that afternoon at 4 pm.

Sunday, November 6 - Pride Parade and Festival

  •   9:00 AM - Staging for Pride Parade vehicles (Our group is #184 located about N. Palm Canyon at Stevens Road).  Don't forget your fire extinguishers.
  •   10:30 AM - Marcher unit will assemble ahead of the vehicles and T-shirts distributed at N. Palm Canyon at Stevens Road).  No need to arrive too early as the parade is slow to begin.  
  • 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Pride Parade followed by Festival downtown

Notes:  

  • In order to sign up for this event, you must be a member of one of our chapters. If not currently a member, you can sign up first and then return here to register.
  • Volunteers will receive a complimentary T-shirt the day of the parade. You need to specify T-shirt size as part of their registration. T-shirts are to be worn during the parade.
  • Walkers are encouraged to wear hiking or backpacking gear (shorts, knapsacks, hiking boots or hiking shoes, hats, water bottles, etc.).
