This discovery hike will be an exploration beyond the normal confines of the trail on a moderately strenuous backcountry hike in the San Jacinto Wilderness. There will be some deviation from the trail to “discover” locations not typically seen by the average day hiker.

Tickets for the Tram: $28.95 Adult $26.95 Senior. Summer and Annual passes available. If online tickets are sold-out or grayed-out for any day, tickets are still available, but can only be purchased on the day of your visit at the Tram’s Valley Station on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need to purchase a ticket, arrive by 9 am to get in line to get a ticket. Parking fee waived for pass holders and local residents. Our tram departure is 10 AM. What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (2-3 liters recommended), lunch, energy snacks, sun protection, layered clothing and hiking poles. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
