Great Outdoors - San Diego
Sunset Trail to Water of the Woods and
Dinner at Janet’s Montana Cafe
May 7, 2022 at 2:30 pm sharp
Join us for one of the most beautiful mountain hikes in San Diego County followed by a delicious country dinner (or breakfast, served all day, and/or take home one of their delicious home baked pies) at a log-cabin mountain lodge in Alpine – Janet’s Montana Cafe.
This is an easy 4.5-mile hike through beautiful pine forest and a wide-open woodland meadow with a spring-fed pond (Water of the Woods) and seasonal lake (Big Laguna Lake). We may see deer and cattle grazing in the meadow in the late afternoon.
San Diego Great Outdoors invites and includes all LGBTQIA+ people and their allies to join us! Come for just the hike, just the dinner, or both the hike and dinner! Please just let us know when you RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
Please be sure to mask-up if/when appropriate and social distance when needed.
