Registration for this event is now closed.
We will take I-10 to Red Cloud Rd to the mine and ruins, about 8 miles from I-10. Then we'll cross the valley and head along the abandoned train tracks to the old trestle. Then a short backtrack to the Red Canyon and up along the ridge. The return takes us through the flats to Box Canyon Road and back along I-10. We will take a break for lunch along the route.
Be sure to arrive with a full tank of gas, some water or other beverage, and lunch/snacks.

Equipment Requirements:
4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle with transfer case, trail rated tires, a spare tire and a full tank of gas. Bring water and trail snacks. Bring you trail radio, frequency 146.550
Pets are welcome.
Drivers are welcome to bring passengers who can be registered as your guest when you register. GO does not arrange rideshares.
