We will drive south along Red Canyon, and then go east along summit road. There will be a diversion for a slot canyon. The beginning of the route is quite dry, and the farther eastern potions are quite green due to recent storms. The route is about 27-28 miles off-road.
Be sure to fill your tank before arriving, and bring plenty to drink, and snacks and a lunch.

8:00 AM - PetSmart, Ramon/Crossley, Palm Springs - Map
Equipment Requirements:
4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle with transfer case, trail rated tires, a spare tire and a full tank of gas. Bring water and trail snacks.
Pets are welcome.
Drivers are welcome to bring passengers (who are GO members) which should be arranged ahead of time. GO does not arrange rideshares.
