This hike will begin from the far south side of the Von’s Rimrock Shopping Center where the trail starts at the large double gate. Suggest parking in this area instead of in the Rimrock Centers lot.
This will be an out and back hike starting up an old Goat Trail to a ridge with great mountain views. From this point the hike continues to another trail leading down into the Eagle Canyon & Oasis. There will be a rest period there before taking a trail back to the parking lot. Distance 3 miles, 700' elevation gain. Rated easy - moderate.
Departure Time: 7:00 AM (Please arrive early for briefing)

Bring: Face mask, Ten Essentials, water (1to 2 liters recommended), lunch/ snacks, sun protection, layered clothing, hiking poles may be helpful. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
