O’Neill Regional Parks 4,500 acres are situated in beautiful Trabuco Canyon. The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees. O’Neill Regional Park is part of OC Parks. The entrance is 30892 Trabuco Canyon, CA 92678. Their website is www.ocparks.com
Parking is $5; there is no Trip Fee for this outing. We will be hiking the easy to navigate Pawfoot and Coyote Trails, which is a combined 4.2 Mile hike of mostly flat terrain.
Meet at the Park Entrance parking lot. Bring extra water and snacks. Also bring the
“10 essentials”. Note: This hike might have to be rescheduled, if heavy rain occurs
within 3 days of date of the hike. Contact your trip leader if in doubt.
We are scouting O’Neill Regional Park, on this visit, as this will be the site for our
Chapter-hosted 2020 Great Outdoors Annual Conference in October.
