Ramona Pride 2026: Small Town, Big Pride!

    Saturday June 13, 2026 from 9am - 4pm

The event pays homage to our founder’s original homegrown pride event with the Visibility Walk – a 2-mile march through the heart of Ramona along Main Street (Hwy. 67). The walk is contained along the public sidewalks and is regularly greeted with honks and cheers of support from passing motorists. Each year, local businesses have shown their support by offering refreshments and words of kindness to walkers. This year, the walk will begin at 9:00 AM, an hour earlier than in previous years, to help reduce heat fatigue that can often come on early summer.

The Visibility Walk begins and ends at the Community Center (approximately 2.5 miles total, with a half-way return option available) where the Community Picnic is ready to go through the afternoon.

At the picnic, attendees can gather LGBTQ+ specific information from local nonprofits and support groups, meet local artists and craftspeople, enjoy music and other entertainment, and enjoy lunch and snacks available from local venders. Local businesses are also invited to showcase their allyship by participating in our event.

Ramona Pride is a family-friendly, human-positive event and all are welcome to attend and participate. Although we have never had any problems in Ramona, for the comfort and protection of everyone attending we provide professional security for the event.

Our new location this year provides an indoor venue for amplified musicians, audiences, and others who may need to cool off. Ample parking for vendors and attendees is also an upgrade from our previous location.

Start Time and Location: 626 E. Street, Ramona, CA 92065 9am for the walk and 10am for the picnic

Note: Our GOSD Trip Leader will be packing up our table and leaving at 1pm to volunteer our Sober Pride table, but please feel free to join after this time for the festival!

Remember, we CAN have too many desserts, but we can never have too many entrees

    and sides.

     2) A beach chair if you'd like to sit. Bonus points if you bring a spare for others to use!

     3) A serving utensil if your dish needs one. A portable table, paper plates, cups, utensils, napkins or extra firewood are also much appreciated!

    4) A significant other, friend, or cuddle buddy.

DIRECTIONS: Take the I-8 freeway west toward Mission Bay, exit onto Mission Bay Drive and make a right, then merge into the far-left hand lane onto Ingraham Street, heading North, then make a left onto Vacation Rd as if you were heading into Paradise Point Resort (previously Pacific Princess Resort). Then an immediate Right before entering the resort to get to the side parking lot. We’ll be on the left (West) side of parking lot by the rest rooms. (Note: we're on the WEST side of Ingraham St. Don't confuse this spot with a similar one on the east side of the street.)

Please note: The two fire rings adjacent to the parking lot may be occupied by other groups. If that happens, keep walking up to the right, under the bridge, and we'll be at the first fire ring we can find.
