Hello friends! Great Outdoors LA welcomes you to join with real people to explore, enjoy, and learn about urban wonders and the vast beauty of nature in the Great Outdoors.

Our well trained volunteers plan and lead welcoming, fun and affordable events so everyone can participate. You are welcome whether a hardcore enthusiast or a curious newbie, to experience the natural beauty of where we live!

Hikes and most day-outings are free and do not require membership. Camping trips require membership. Volunteering is greatly rewarding and appreciated by everyone.

You can join any chapter and get membership privileges for all events. Members receive e-mail announcements for event registration, and can chose the types of events they want notifications for. Limited-space outings will be announced to Chapter members first.
