Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park, North Rim - July 19-26, 2009

Join us for the adventure on the beautiful OTHER SIDE. You haven’t experienced the Grand Canyon until you visit the North side of this awesome place. Hiking trails that take you to the very edge of canyon walls. Trails that take you out on dizzying points that drop off thousands of feet. This is a hikers dream. The North Rim is much higher then the south Rim. So it is cooler and the pine forest are thicker. The meadows are sweeping. You must bring your camera and binoculars. There are a lot of roaming animals to view. Trip Notes

Buckhorn San Gabrial Mountains

Rancho Cuyamaca Car Camp - August 7-9, 2009

High in the mountains, lots of places to hike and places to see. This is a mountain setting 16 miles south of Julian California and east of Escondido. We will camp at about 4,500 feet in a pine forest. There are over 100 miles of hiking trails and beautiful vistas for photos and just enjoying the Great Outdoors. There is a lake about 2 miles away where boats may be rented. Julian is the apple capital of California. A quiet, former mining town, it is now a tourist destination. Trip Notes
